Welcome to the Center for Cybersecurity and Trustworthy Systems at Kansas State University.

Information assurance is not a separate area of computer science. Rather, it is the practice of securing information and systems across the broad spectrum of computing systems, network systems, applications, and information storage.

The mission of the Center is to conduct fundamental and applied research in information assurance and computer security, advance the knowledge base of our BS, MS, and PhD students in computer science, information systems, and software engineering in information assurance, and engage the professional community in collaborative efforts that support the understanding, operation, and development of secure software systems that pervade our society.
